Instructions for Putting Glass Bangles On
Yes, they are really glass!  Glass bangles are not like typical bangles.  They are delicate and can cut you if they break.  They must be put on carefully, and they take a some practice at first.

1. BE CAREFUL!  They are breakable and can cut you.

2. Apply lotion to your hand.

3. Loosen up your hand by giving yourself a quick hand massage (or better yet, have someone else give you a hand massage!).  Apply more lotion if needed.

4. Hold your hand up VERTICAL from the floor and do not stiffen your hand.  The key to putting on glass bangles without breakage is keeping a loose flexible hand. 
   If you keep your arm down in a horizontal position, the bangles will be more difficult to get on (the blood flows to your hand making it swell slightly).

5. Slowly and carefully work the bangles on in small groups (2-4 at a time) being careful that the bangles are straight over top of each other.  If the bangles are off-kilter they will snap.  Add more lotion between bangle groupings if needed.

6. Wiggle your fingers a bit when the bangles get to the widest point of your hand.  Think of moving your hand through the bangles rather than moving the bangles over your hand.

7. Clap and move your hands often to draw attention to your new jewelry!

TIP:  Use as much lotion as needed.  As you wear bangles your hands will become more flexible and you won't need to use as much lotion.  Use these instructions to remove your bangles. 

Remember, glass bangles are fragile and will break.  This is normal and expected (that's why there are so many bangles in each set). v
